Berkshire has an immediate opening for an Associate Quality Assurance Specialist. The individual in this position will participate in the quality assurance process through the testing and monitoring of Berkshire’s product line. This position is also responsible for providing product support for clients who use Berkshire’s proprietary commercial web based applications. 1. Contributes to the quality assurance process for all of Berkshire’s commercial web based applications including, but not limited to:
   a. Submitting and reviewing tickets for identified defect
   b. Verifying submitted fixes have resolved the identified defect in development, test and production environments 
   c.Developing test steps and designing test data for testing and verifying the assigned tickets
   d.Performing other software testing tasks on new and updated releases of Berkshire’s commercial web based applications in order to ensure quality and secure releases to clients.
   e.Monitoring quality assurance levels and metrics to ensure compliance with Berkshire’s established standards.
2. Supports internal and external clients of Berkshire’s proprietary commercial software applications via telephone and e-mail, providing technical assistance and product knowledge as necessary.  Provides on-call support during extended business hours.

1.  Thorough knowledge of general computer operation required.
2. Thorough knowledge of software testing principles and methods required.
3. Thorough knowledge of the Windows platform.
4. Working knowledge of using and administering applications over the web required.
5. Strong knowledge of various web browsers, such as Edge, Firefox and Chrome required.  
6. Working knowledge of browser dev tools.
7. Strong analytical and problem- solving skills required.
8. Must be self-motivated, task, detail and deadline oriented.
9. Ability to communicate with tact and discretion required.
10. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, required

1. Quality Assurance experience
2. Automation Testing experience
3. Working knowledge of SQL Server system preferred.
4. Working knowledge of Javascript, CSS and other browser based technologies preferred.

Quality Assurance experience preferred.  

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred.
